Runway

Terms of Use

Version 2026-08-26

These terms cover your use of Runway at userunway.dev. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.

Runway is not medical advice

This is the most important thing on this page. Runway does arithmetic on numbers you type in. It does not know what you take, what you should take, or what happens if you stop — and after encryption, it cannot know. It does not check interactions, it does not check doses, and it is not a substitute for a pharmacist, a GP, or the label on the box.

Do not use Runway as the only thing standing between you and running out of a medication you need. A reminder can fail: an email can go to spam, a notification can be blocked by your phone, a server can be down, and a number typed in wrongly produces a confidently wrong date. Treat it as a helpful prompt, not as a safety system.

Your account

  • You need a working email address, and you must be 16 or older.
  • Keep your recovery code. It is shown once, and it is the only way back in if you lose every passkey.
  • Runway cannot reset it. Because your medication names are encrypted with a key derived from your passkey or recovery code, losing both means that data is unrecoverable — by you and by us. This is a deliberate property of the design, not a gap in support.
  • One account per person. Do not share it.

What you may not do

  • Use Runway to store anything other than your own medication information.
  • Attempt to reach another account's data, or to disrupt the service for other people.
  • Automate account creation, or use the service to send mail to addresses you do not own.

Security research is welcome. If you find something, please report it to [email protected] before disclosing it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and does not access other people's data.

Availability

Runway is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime, and no warranty. It is a small service. It may be unavailable, it may lose data, and it may stop existing. If it is going to be discontinued, you will get at least 30 days' notice by email and time to export.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Runway is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including a missed reorder or a notification that did not arrive. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under UK law.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It is immediate and irreversible. We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, or that has been inactive for 24 months — with warning, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Changes

If these terms change materially you will be asked to agree again before continuing to use Runway.
